"Itaewon Class" And "Queen: Love And War" Viewership Ratings Hit New Personal Bests
“Stove League” continues to dominate its time slot.
On February 1, SBS’s “Stove League” gathered average nationwide ratings of 16.0 percent and a peak of 19.0 percent according to Nielsen Korea. In the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, the drama scored ratings of 8.6 percent, making the drama the most-viewed TV show of the day including variety shows.
After premiering to strong ratings on January 31, Park Seo Joon‘s new drama”Itaewon Class” performed even better with its second episode. JTBC’s “Itaewon Class” scored viewership ratings of 5.3 nationwide and 5.6 in the Seoul metropolitan area.
tvN’s “Crash Landing on You” stayed solid as the most-viewed cable drama in its time slot as it garnered average ratings of 14.2 and a peak of 16.3. In the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, the drama received average ratings of 9.0 and peaked at 10.0 percent. “Crash Landing on You” continues to be most popular with female viewers in their forties, with whom the ratings peaked at 20.3 percent.
Jang Hyuk, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, and Jin Seo Yeon‘s new OCN drama “Tell Me What You Saw” premiered to nationwide average ratings of 2.0 percent. KBS2’s “Beautiful Love Wonderful Life” scored average ratings of 20.3 percent and 25.0 percent for its two parts, while MBC’s “Never Twice” garnered ratings of 7.1 percent, 8.8 percent, 8.1 percent, and 9.5 percent.
TV Chosun’s “Queen: Love and War” hit its highest ratings so far with an average of 4.5 percent and a peak of 5.0 percent nationwide. Channel A’s “Touch” gathered 0.9 percent in ratings that night.
