Actor Lee Yi Kyung will be transforming into a trot singer!

On February 3, Lee Yi Kyung’s agency HB Entertainment revealed, “Lee Yi Kyung will be releasing a trot song. Please show lots of interest as Lee Yi Kyung will be delivering his unique refreshing energy through music this time, and you can look forward to trot singer Lee Yi Kyung.”

Lee Yi Kyung has starred in numerous projects including “School 2013,” “My Love From the Star,” “Go Back Couple,” “Welcome to Waikiki,” “Partners for Justice,” “Children of Nobody,” and “Welcome to Waikiki 2.” The actor has received much praise from viewers for his diverse character portrayal in genres ranging from comedy to action. He also starred in the film “Hitman: Agent Jun,” which recently surpassed 2 million moviegoers.

Furthermore, Lee Yi Kyung also promoted actively through variety programs including XtvN’s “Player,” in which the actor executed a charismatic performance on stage when he had to take on the “Trot Duet Song Festival” mission last year.

Lee Yi Kyung finished filming the music video for the song at the end of last month, and Lee Soo Geun, Kim Dong Hyun, Hwang Jae Sung, Hwang Chi Yeol, Lee Yong Jin, Lee Jin Ho, and Jung Hyuk from XtvN’s “Player 2” will all be featuring in the music video.

The actor’s first trot song will be released sometime in mid-February.
