Nana Considering Lead Role In Upcoming KBS Drama

Nana may be making a drama comeback through KBS!

On February 4, an industry insider told Ilgan Sports that, “Nana is cast as the lead female role in KBS 2TV’s new drama ‘The Ballot’ (working title).”

Nana’s agency Pledis Entertainment later confirmed that she is considering the role, stating, “She has received an offer for the role and is considering it.”

“The Ballot” is reported to be a comedy about a poor young woman who decides to try her hand at civil service when she hears that a district representative position has an annual salary of 50 million won (approximately $42,082).

Nana has received the offer to star as Goo Se Ra, the young woman in question. Goo Se Ra has no money, no experience, and essentially no hope, until she hears that a position of district representative only works 90 days out of the year and yet still makes a hefty salary. She then tries out as a contractual district representative to try her hand at civil service.

“The Ballot” will be produced by Hwang Seung Gi and written by Moon Hyung Kyung. The drama is currently set for a premiere in July of this year.
