More Events Cancelled Or Postponed Due To Coronavirus Outbreak
As the coronavirus outbreak continues to take lives all around eastern Asia and around the world, more and more Korean artists are cancelling or postponing events to ensure the health and safety of their performers and their fans.
Zico was due to hold a solo concert, originally scheduled for February 22 and 23. On February 10, his agency KOZ Entertainment announced that the concert had been postponed due to the threat of coronavirus.

The company went on to explain that the health of their artists, staff, and concert attendees was their utmost priority, and that the new concert dates would be announced at a later date.
Super Junior’s concert in Kuala Lumpur was postponed, as well. Originally scheduled for March 1, the organizer for the concert cited health and safety concerns as well as the travel restrictions and impacts on shipping for the postponement of the Malaysia concert.

Idol group CIX cancelled their scheduled fan meetings that were scheduled for February 22 and 23, as well. C9 Entertainment, the agency behind CIX, posted an official statement to the group’s fan cafe.
Hello, this is C9 Entertainment.
We regret to inform you that the upcoming CIX fan meeting, scheduled for February 22 and 23, has been cancelled. Right now the threat that the coronavirus could spread is severe even in Seoul, and so to protect the health and safety of our artists and their fans, the fan meeting has regrettably been cancelled.

WJSN also had a concert scheduled for the weekend of February 22 and 23, which unfortunately ended up being postponed indefinitely. They wrote on the official WJSN Twitter account, “Due to the thread of the spread of the coronavirus, the 2020 WJSN concert ‘Obliviate’ scheduled for February 22 and 23 has been indefinitely postponed. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and ask for fan’s understanding in the matter.”

DAVICHI’s Lee Hae Ri also ended up cancelling her solo concert. In an announcement on DAVICHI’s official social media, a representative of Lee Hae Ri wrote, “In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, we regret to inform you that Lee Haeri’s solo concert ‘from h’ has been cancelled. We sincerely apologize to all of the fans who were eagerly anticipating the concert.” The event was originally scheduled for the weekend of March 7 and 8.
