Currently, GMA Network is airing a Philippine adapation of the hit 2016 drama “Descendants of the Sun.”
It’s not the first time SBS has teamed up with an international broadcaster to produce new versions of “Running Man,” either. At the end of 2019, SBS announced a contract with Indonesian enterprise FCL to co-produce an Indonesian spinoff of the show. Prior to that, Vietnam and China also aired their own versions of “Running Man,” as well, making the Philippines version the fourth country to receive an international spinoff of the show.
