Yoon Kyun Sang In Talks Alongside Im Soo Hyang For New Drama About Love Triangle Involving 2 Brothers
Yoon Kyun Sang may be appearing alongside Im Soo Hyang in a new drama!
On February 12, it was reported that Yoon Kyun Sang would be appearing in MBC’s upcoming drama “When I Was the Prettiest” (literal title).
In response to the reports, a source from Yoon Kyun Sang’s agency told Ilgan Sports, “New MBC drama ‘When I Was the Prettiest’ is just one of many projects he’s received offers for. He’s currently reviewing it.” If Yoon Kyun Sang were to accept the offer, this would be the actor’s first drama after signing with new agency Hooxi Creative in December 2019.
This series conveys the message that everyone has the right to be happy, and it’s centered around a love triangle between two brothers and a woman named Ye Ji. It tells the story of Seo Hwan who reunites with the woman he loves when she becomes his sister-in-law. He was the first one to meet Ye Ji before his older brother and he brought the student art teacher to his father’s workshop in order to impress her. Things didn’t go according to plan, however, as she got close to his older brother instead. After the disappearance of his older brother, Seo Hwan reveals his true feelings for Ye Ji as well as his hidden ambitions.
Yoon Kyun Sang has been offered the role of Seo Hwan while Im Soo Hyang is currently in talks to play the female lead Ye Ji.
“When I Was the Prettiest” will be directed by Oh Kyung Hoon of “Bad Thief, Good Thief” and “Mother.” Writer Jo Hyun Kyung who is known for historical dramas including “Maids” and “Grand Prince” will write the script for this upcoming series as her first contemporary piece. May Queen Pictures will produce the drama, which is slated to premiere in the second half of this year.
