"Mister Trot" Ratings Soar To New All-Time High, Making Cable Network History
TV Chosun’s smash hit “Mister Trot” shows no signs of slowing down!
On February 13, the popular audition program continued to make Korean television history. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the show scored average nationwide ratings of 24.155 percent and 28.064 percent for its two parts, breaking its own record for the highest viewership ratings ever achieved by a cable network.
In spite of the stiff competition, MBC’s thriller drama “The Game: Towards Zero” enjoyed a slight increase in viewership from its previous broadcast the night before, scoring average nationwide ratings of 3.0 percent and 4.5 percent for its two parts.
KBS 2TV’s “Forest” scored average ratings of 4.8 percent and 5.2 percent for the night, while SBS’s variety show “Delicious Rendezvous” scored average ratings of 5.1 percent, 6.0 percent, and 7.0 percent for its three parts.
