Kang Daniel's Agency Shares Update On Lawsuits Against Malicious Commenters

On February 24, KONNECT Entertainment shared an update on the legal action they are taking against malicious commenters.

Their statement reads:

Hello, this is KONNECT Entertainment.

We sincerely thank all the fans who have been sending our artist, Kang Daniel, their attention and love.

We will now inform you about the situation as of February 24 regarding the legal action we have taken against malicious comments, which include false rumors, sexual harassment, defamation, personal attacks, and violations of privacy.

The first round of complaints we filed in September have been concluded with summary indictments with monetary penalties. For the second round of complaints we filed in December, the plaintiff’s statements have been taken, and the investigation is currently ongoing. We will let you know about the state of that investigation as it progresses.

As an agency, we will continue to file criminal and civil complaints, as well as damage suits, in order to protect our artist and his fans from slanderous actions and malicious hate comments.

Kang Daniel took a break from all scheduled activities in December, citing physical and mental health issues. He recently announced that he will be making his return with a new reality show.
