"The Game: Towards Zero" Enjoys Ratings Boost; "Mister Trot" Sets New Cable Network Record
TV Chosun’s “Mister Trot” continues to make cable network history with each new episode!
After surging past the 30 percent mark last week to break its own record for the highest viewership ratings ever achieved by a cable network, “Mister Trot” has bested itself once again with its latest episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, the February 27 broadcast of the hit audition program scored average nationwide ratings of 28.056 percent and 32.699 percent for its two parts, setting a new record for the highest ratings in cable network history.
Meanwhile, despite stiff competition from the record-breaking “Mister Trot,” MBC’s “The Game: Towards Zero” also enjoyed an increase in its viewership ratings last night. According to Nielsen Korea, the February 27 episode of the mystery thriller drama scored average nationwide ratings of 3.2 percent and 3.9 percent, marking a small but significant rise in viewership from the night before.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Forest” scored average nationwide ratings of 4.3 percent and 4.9 percent for its two parts.
