Starship Provides Update On MONSTA X's Joohoney's Health + Possibility Of His Return

Starship Entertainment has shared an update on the health of MONSTA X’s Joohoney.

In January of this year, Joohoney went on a temporary hiatus from all activities due to health reasons, with Starship Entertainment announcing that he would be taking a break to focus on his recovery. Later that month, Joohoney penned a heartfelt letter to his fans in which he opened up about his mental health and shared that he hoped to return to his activities once he had fully recovered.

Following MONSTA X’s return to Korea earlier this week—the group just wrapped up their U.S. promotions for their new English-language album “All About Luv“—Starship Entertainment has stated that they are slowly preparing for the possibility of Joohoney’s return.

A representative of the agency told Star News, “Although Joohoney has not yet fully recovered, he is much better than before. We will help Joohoney so that he is able to return to the group in great condition.”

MONSTA X recently made the Billboard 200 for the first time with “All About Luv,” which made an impressive debut at No. 5 on this week’s chart. The group is currently preparing to embark on their 2020 world tour later this year.
