'Itaewon Class' Breaks Its Own Ratings Record For 9th Consecutive Episode

JTBC’s “Itaewon Class” shows no signs of slowing down!

Ever since its premiere in January, viewership ratings for “Itaewon Class” have been steadily rising with each new episode—and its latest broadcast proved no exception. According to Nielsen Korea, the February 29 episode of the hit drama scored an average nationwide rating of 14.8 percent, marking its highest ratings to date.

“Itaewon Class” also took first place in its time slot among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 8.7 percent.

tvN’s new drama “Hi Bye, Mama” scored an average rating of 5.4 percent for its third episode, while SBS’s “Hyena” scored average ratings of 6.8 percent and 9.9 percent for its fourth broadcast.

KBS 2TV’s “Beautiful Love Wonderful Life” held steady with average nationwide ratings of 22.6 percent and 27.0 percent for its two parts, while MBC’s “Never Twice” scored average ratings of 12.4 percent, 11.0 percent, and 11.8 percent for the night.
