Bae Jin Young's Agency Reveals Judge's Verdict Against Netizens Who Made Malicious Comments

On March 3, CIX member Bae Jin Young’s agency C9 Entertainment released a statement regarding the legal proceedings against malicious commenters.

The full statement reads as follows:

Hello, this is C9 Entertainment.

Our agency filed charges against malicious commenters for defamation, sexual harrassment, cursing, and so forth. On January 8 the Seoul Eastern District Court ruled that those responsible for such malicious comments would be fined.

Moving forward, we will continue with our monitoring of comments to ensure that, in the event of a similiar incident, we can respond strongly and swiftly.

Due to the recent increase of malicious comments, portal sites Naver and Daum have disabled comments on entertainment articles, and KakaoTalk has removed related people searches and realtime search trends.
