CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk And Lee Jung Shin To Be Discharged According To Military's COVID-19 Protocol
CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin will be soon discharged from the military!
On March 4, CNBLUE’s agency FNC Entertainment shared, “Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin will be discharged on March 19 without returning [to their bases] from their ETS leaves according to the Ministry of National Defense’s policy.”
From around mid-February, the Ministry of National Defense has been regulating and restricting leave and visits for military personnel as a part of the Korean military’s efforts to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Vacation dates have been adjusted so that those on their final vacation prior to discharge will be discharged from the military without returning to their bases. Last month, 2PM’s Wooyoung was discharged also according this military protocol.
Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin left for their ETS leaves on March 3 and 4, respectively. Although their discharge date technically remains the same, they will not have to return to their military bases.
After Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin enlisted on July 31, 2018 into the 55th Division in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province and the 32nd Infantry Division in Sejong City, respectively, they have dutifully carried out their duties as active duty soldiers.
Welcome back, Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin!
