"The Show" Not Airing This Week
SBS MTV’s “The Show” has officially announced the cancellation of this week’s broadcast.
Instead of the usual live broadcast on March 10, SBS MTV will be airing a special episode of “The Show” that will include unaired footage of stars who have previously appeared on the music program.
A spokesperson for SBS MTV stated, “The cancellation of the March 10 broadcast is unrelated to COVID-19 [novel coronavirus]. The decision was made due to internal circumstances within the network.”
“The Show” revealed further details in a post on its official Twitter account, stating, “On Tuesday, March 10, ‘The Show’ will air its ‘We Hope to See You Often in 2020’ highlight special.” In a separate post on its official website, the program added, “We will resume normal programming starting on March 17 (Episode 218), so please show a lot of interest! Thank you.”
“The Show” airs on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. KST.
