Jun Ji Hyun, Won Bin, Lee Na Young, And More Cut Rent Costs In Light Of Coronavirus Outbreak

Celebrity landowners are slashing rent costs in an effort to bring some relief to their tenants as the South Korean economy takes a hit following the outbreak of the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak.

On March 7, a representative of Eden Nine told TV Report, “Won Bin and Lee Na Young decided to reduce the cost of rent for their building by 50 percent during March and April.”

Jun Ji Hyun is also reducing rent for her building in the Gangnam District by 10 percent in March and April.

Actress Park Eun Hye decided to go even further and will not be collecting any rent payments for the month of March. A representative of her agency Wooridle Company commented, “She did this hoping to be of some small help [to her tenants].”

Other celebrity landowners including Hong Suk Chun, Seo Jang Hoon, Rain, and Kim Tae Hee previously made similar decisions to help their tenants.
