Yoo Seung Ho Promises High-Quality Action Scenes As He Transforms Into A Detective In "Memorist"

Upcoming drama “Memorist” is hyping up the excitement for its premiere with new stills of Yoo Seung Ho!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, the tvN drama is about a detective with supernatural powers named Dong Baek (played by Yoo Seung Ho) and an elite criminal profiler named Han Sun Mi (played by Lee Se Young) who work together to track down a serial killer.

The newly released stills show Yoo Seung Ho as Dong Baek, a modern-day hero with the ability to scan other people’s memories. In one photo, Dong Baek is connected to various wires as scientists study his supernatural power. In another photo, Dong Baek hunts down criminals with keen determination in his eyes.

Yoo Seung Ho commented, “There’s a lot of action in this project. It was my first time doing action stunts, so I practiced a lot since two months ago. I will show refreshing yet intense action.”

The production crew shared, “From the first episode, detective Dong Baek with super powers will play a powerful role. His method of investigation, which includes his ability to scan memories and feel the victims’ emotions, will provide refreshing [entertainment].”

“Memorist” premieres on March 11 at 10:50 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki!
