"Queendom" Boy Group Spin-Off "Road To Kingdom" Reveals Plans For Premiere + Return Of "Queendom" MCs

“Queendom” spin-off “Road to Kingdom” (literal title) revealed its MCs!

It was confirmed earlier this month that “Road to Kingdom,” the boy group spin-off of Mnet’s “Queendom,” was confirmed for production. Skilled K-pop boy groups will compete on  “Road to Kingdom” to be evaluated based on their performances. Mnet will ensure fair voting through their ‘observer system,’ which consists of ordinary people and strangers overseeing the text votes to confirm the results.

The winning team of “Road to Kingdom” will be rewarded with priority over other teams to join the subsequent show “Kingdom.” The producers of “Road to Kingdom” are currently in the final stages of recruiting approximately seven or eight teams to join the show. ONF, Golden Child, The Boyz, VERIVERY, and TOO were previously reported to be some of the competing teams, but Mnet stated that they could not confirm the lineup ahead of the first recording where the groups would be meeting for the first time.

“Queendom” MCs Lee Da Hee and Jang Sung Kyu will be returning for “Road to Kingdom.”

“Road to Kingdom” is slated to begin airing in late April.
