More boy groups have been reported for the “Road to Kingdom” lineup!
It was reported last week that ONF, Golden Child, The Boyz, VERIVERY, and TOO are in talks to compete on “Road to Kingdom,” to which Mnet responded, “Because the show involves the groups meeting each other for the first time during the first recording, we cannot reveal the lineup.”
On March 11, industry representatives reported that SF9, PENTAGON, ONEUS, ONF, Golden Child, The Boyz, and TOO are in discussion for the final lineup, and most are confirmed. According to the report, AB6IX was also in talks but ultimately decided not to participate.
“Queendom,” which aired its first season last fall, featured a star-studded lineup of girl groups facing off against one another in various competitions before culminating in a fierce “comeback battle.” In “Road to Kingdom,” several boy groups will go up against each other and release music on streaming sites simultaneously, and the winning team will be rewarded with priority over other teams to join the subsequent show “Kingdom.”
Hosted by Lee Da Hee and Jang Sung Kyu, “Road to Kingdom” will begin filming on March 20 and premiere in the first half of the year.
Stay tuned for updates!
