Seo Kang Joon, Lee Tae Hwan, Kang Tae Oh, And Yoo Il To Reportedly Move To New Agency Together

Four of the 5URPRISE members are reported to move from Fantagio to a brand new agency together.

Fantagio confirmed on March 11 that the agency’s contracts with Seo Kang Joon, Gong Myung, Lee Tae Hwan, Kang Tae Oh, and Yoo Il are set to expire at the end of the month and said their future plans are being discussed.

On March 12, The Korea Economic Daily reported that Seo Kang Joon, Lee Tae Hwan, Kang Tae Oh, and Yoo Il will be joining a new start-up agency together with some Fantagio staff members who they have worked with for a long time.

According to the Korea Economic Daily, Gong Myung is likely to join Saram Entertainment, which is home to actors including Lee Je HoonHoney LeeJo Jin WoongYoon Kye Sang, and Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung, as reported previously.

5URPRISE debuted in 2013 as an actor group from Fantagio, and the actors have all built up strong careers individually.

Seo Kang Joon is currently starring in “I’ll Go to You When the Weather is Nice,” and he previously took on projects including “Cheese in the Trap,” “Are You Human Too?,” “The Third Charm,” “Watcher,” and the film “The Beauty Inside.” Gong Myung has starred in films including “Extreme Job” and dramas such as “Entertainer,” “Drinking Solo,” “Bride of the Water God,” “Revolutionary Love,” and “Melo is My Nature.” Lee Tae Hwan has acted in dramas including “W,” “My Golden Life,” “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” “Farming Academy,” and “Touch.” Kang Tae Oh’s projects have included “Miss Korea,” “Twenty Again,” “Short,” “The Tale of Nokdu,” and “My First First Love.” Yoo Il has mainly appeared in plays and musicals but also dramas such as “Love with Flaws.”
