BTS's V Shares Thoughts On Participating In 'Itaewon Class' OST With Self-Composed Song

BTS’s V has shared his excitement about contributing to the soundtrack of JTBC’s hit drama “Itaewon Class”!

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that as a result of his close friendship with “Itaewon Class” star Park Seo Joon, V would be contributing a self-composed solo track to the drama’s OST.

Entitled “Sweet Night,” the song is described as a sweet, comforting indie pop track led by the sounds of acoustic guitar.

Ahead of the song’s release on March 13, V spoke about his history with the original “Itaewon Class” webtoon and how he felt about being able to participate in the drama’s OST.

“I read the original webtoon ‘Itaewon Class’ before seeing the drama,” shared V, “and I remember that I enjoyed reading it, while also learning some life lessons from the story.

He went on to recall, “The character of Park Sae Roy left a particularly deep impression on me, and I really liked him. So I’m really thrilled that a close friend of mine, whom I really like, is playing the role of Park Sae Roy.”

The idol humbly added, “I’m grateful to be able to take part in such a great drama with a self-composed song of mine. I hope that you’ll show it a lot of love.”

V’s “Sweet Night” will be released on March 13 at 6 p.m. KST.
