Hyerim Shares Handwritten Letter With Fans About Her Now-Public Relationship + Joining Yubin's Agency

Hyerim has opened up about her decision to make her relationship public, as well as her decision to join rrr Entertainment, which was founded by fellow Wonder Girls member Yubin.

Earlier in the day on March 14, it was announced that Hyerim would be making her relationship with her non-celebrity boyfriend public for the first time since they began dating seven years ago. They are set to appear on the MBC program “Don’t Be Jealous,” which follows the real-life stories of celebrities and their significant others as they go about their everyday lives.

Since then, Hyerim has taken to her personal Instagram account to share a handwritten message in both Korean and English to open up about the recent changes in her life of going public with her relationship and joining rrr Entertainment. Her letter reads as follows:

Hi, everyone! This is Hyerim.

How are you today? Today may be jus another day, but it is indeed a special day for me. I have a couple of news that I would like to share with you.

First, I would like to reveal that there is someone special whom I have been seeing, and thanks to MBC, our couple has been given the opportunity to join a program called “Don’t Be Jealous.” This feels surreal, but I am grateful at the same time to be in this position.

Second, I would like to announce that I have signed a contract with rrr Entertainment. I could not be more excited to be working with my good sister and CEO, Yubin.

I did not mean to scare or surprise you, but I wanted to be the first one to share this news with my beloved fans. I promise not to fail you. Please look forward to my upcoming activities! Finally, I will always be the happy and bright maknae (youngest), Hyerim.
