The last showdown in Round 1 was between “Half Moon Prince” and “Full Moon Prince,” who sang a duet of Michael Jackson’s “Black or White.” Full Moon Prince melted hearts with his sweet and appealing voice, while Kim Jo Han complimented Half Moon Prince on the fullness of his voice.
With a single vote difference, Half Moon Prince advanced to Round 2. Full Moon Prince performed Kim Kwang Seok’s song “Too Painful Love Isn’t Love” and took off his mask to reveal his identity as Golden Child’s Jibeom!
He said, “My goal was to rise to the top of the realtime search rankings. I want Golden Child’s Jibeom and Golden Child to rise together. I hope many people will get to know Golden Child.”
Afterwards, Jibeom shared through Twitter, “Everyone, were you surprised?! Because I could show a new side of myself on ‘The King of Mask Singer,’ I think it was a good experience. The song I showed you on ‘The Live’ was originally the song I was preparing for ‘Mask Singer.’ Haha.”
