LABOUM's Solbin Joins Ji Chang Wook And Kim Yoo Jung In Cast For New Drama

It was previously reported that LABOUM member Solbin was in talks to join Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung in an upcoming drama. Well, now it’s confirmed—Solbin has officially joined the cast of SBS’s “Backstreet Rookie”!

“Backstreet Rookie” is based on a popular webtoon and tells the story of convenience store owner Choi Dae Hyun (Ji Chang Wook) and part-time employee Jung Saet Byul (Kim Yoo Jung). Solbin is cast in the role of Jung Eun Byul, Jung Saet Byul’s younger sister, who is a high school student that undergoes a total transformation.

Solbin made her drama debut with SBS’s “The Good Witch” and has since appeared in Channel A’s “Touch“, OCN’s “Melo Holic“, SBS’s “Into the World Again“, and JTBC’s “Itaewon Class.”

“Backstreet Rookie” is currently scheduled to premiere this coming June.
