SeeYa To Get Back Together For Their First Album In 9 Years
Fans of girl group SeeYa rejoice–the group is back together!
SeeYa reunited for the first time in almost ten years on JTBC’s “Sugar Man 3” back in late February, performing their old songs and to talking about their disbandment. Four of their songs re-entered the charts after the appearance, to the group’s gratitude. Now SeeYa has announced that they will be releasing their first album since 2011.
Their agency, Contents NandaKinda, released a statement on March 25, saying, “[The three members of SeeYa] got together and had a discussion about many things. In the end, they gained strength from their fans and decided to come together for a project album.”
As of right now, the company said, their plan is to release the new song around late April or early May. The three will promote the song as SeeYa, before returning to their respective solo and/or acting careers.
SeeYa debuted in 2006 with “A Woman’s Scent,” and promoted for five years. In 2011 the group held a goodbye stage and disbanded, citing misunderstandings between the members.
