Kim Gun Mo Forwarded To Prosecution For Suspicions Of Sexual Assault

Singer Kim Gun Mo has been forwarded to the prosecution for suspicions of sexual assault.

On March 25, the Gangnam Police Station sent the alleged sexual assault case against Kim Gun Mo to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office with recommendation for indictment. It has been 108 days since the investigation began on December 9 of last year.

The woman who sued Kim Gun Mo claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Kim Gun Bo at a bar in Gangnam. Kim Gun Mo appeared at the Gangnam Police Station on February 15 and was questioned about the alleged sexual assault for about 12 hours. At the time, he asserted he is innocent, saying, “I sincerely apologize for causing concern. I hope the truth comes out as soon as possible. If [the police] requests further investigation, I will come again.”
