TVXQ's Yunho Registers Patent For New Unique Face Mask Design
TVXQ’s Yunho has registered a new patent!
According to the Korean Intellectual Property Office’s online website on March 26, Yunho filed a patent for his face mask design on March 3, and the patent was registered on March 16. SM Entertainment also confirmed, “It is true that Yunho applied for a patent on a mask design.”
The mask design Yunho applied a patent for has an opening in the middle with a cover that allows the person to open and close the opening. Therefore, users will still be able to drink beverages or converse by opening the cover even while wearing the mask.
Yunho shared with SPOTV News, “I wear face masks often, and I thought, ‘Is there a way to quickly and easily drink water while wearing the mask?’ So I ended up registering a patent.”
Recently, Yunho donated 30 million won (approximately $24,900) to the Community Chest of Korea to fight against the spread of COVD-19 (novel coronavirus).
