Watch: "Best Mistake 2" Introduces Main Characters Including New Ones In Exciting Teasers

The follow-up season to hit 2019 web drama “Best Mistake” is coming soon!

“Best Mistake 2” is a youth romance drama that tells the story of regular high students tangled up with one another over various concerns. The first teaser signals the start of their last year of high school and flashes through the events over the course of their year. In a voiceover, Kim Yeon Doo (Lee Eun Jae) shares, “Although our moment will one day come to an end, we don’t have to feel regretful because of that. Even though nothing lasts forever, there are still things that remain the same.”

The second teaser introduces new characters, including new student Choi Seung Hyun (Lee Jung Joon). The students gossip, “He’s been famous since elementary school. He’s a legendary batter. He has skill, but no manners.” He tells Ji Hyun Ho (Kang Yool), “Be careful in the future,” to which Ji Hyun Ho responds, “Who are you to be picking a fight?”

Yoon Ah Ra (Yang Yoo Jin) introduces herself to Kim Yeon Doo, saying, “I’m Yoon Ah Ra, do you know me?” Kang Ah Hoon (Keum Dong Hyun from “Produce X 101”) introduces himself saying, “I’m Kang Ah Hoon from second year, class three.”

The teaser heats up as the students all get intertwined. The girls comment that Choi Seung Hyun is quite popular, while Yoon Ah Ra prepares to confess her feelings to Jung Ji Sung (Choi Chan Yi). Ryu Sol (Kim So Yeon) announces that she doesn’t like Seung Hyun, telling her friends, “Don’t get close with him.”

Ji Hyun Ho asks Kim Yeon Doo about Choi Seung Hyun, saying, “Doesn’t he act like he’s close to you? Does he talk to you and ask for your number?” Later, he overhears Choi Seung Hyun tell Kim Yeon Doo, “Aren’t there times when you just want to run away? Tell me when you want to tell me. I’ll stay by your side.”

The love triangle between Kim Yeon Doo, Ji Hyun Ho, and Choi Seung Hyun is only amplified in the third teaser. The clip begins with Kim Yeon Doo adorably commenting to Ji Hyun Ho, “So we’re dating.” Later, she tells him, “I don’t ever get jealous, because I know you like me.”

When she tries to leave, Ji Hyun Ho asks, “Where do you think you’re going?” She insists she’s going to volunteer at the library when he insists, “Why do you have to do it together? Do it with me too.” She asks him, “Why can’t you trust me?” He answers, “It’s not you I can’t trust, it’s him.”

Kim Yeon Doo sweetly asks Choi Seung Hyun, “Why are you trying to fill up your volunteer points?” Later when Choi Seung Hyun and Ji Hyun Ho are talking, Ji Hyun Ho says, “That’s cheating. Cheating is bad.” Choi Seung Hyun replies, “Isn’t that what you’re doing too? Choi Seung Hyun then tells Kim Yeon Doo, “Don’t avoid me,” and says, “There’s no reason to hide it anymore.”

Kang Ah Hoon appears as Kim Yeon Doo’s adorable junior, and Kim Yeon Doo personally introduces Yoon Ah Ra to her friends. Yoon Ah Ra develops a cute relationship with Jung Ji Sung and says in a voiceover, “I would never do something that the person I like hates.” When someone asks what he’s thinking about, Jung Ji Sung answers, “You’re Ji Sung’s destiny.”

Ryu Sol shares, “It’s not that I can’t date, it’s that I choose not to date. You can date when you have a lot of time. Seo Ju Ho (Yoon Jun Won) tells her, “You said there’s nothing in between a friend and a boyfriend. If that’s the case, then I’ll be your friend.”

When asked what she’s looking at, Ahn Yoo Na (Ju Hyun Young) answers, “To be honest, I’ve developed a new obsession. I think I like him.”
