Watch: Kush Establishes New Label And Returns With "Reminisce" MV Featuring Han Seung Yeon

Kush has returned to the music scene with his own label.

According to TV Report, Kush joined forces with producer DM and established Heart Entertainment INC. Both Kush and DM were once part of YG Entertainment. Furthermore, Kush’s girlfriend Vivian will be joining his label. Heart Entertainment INC confirmed the news, saying, “We are planning to sign an exclusive contract with Vivian. We’re not done with the contract yet. We’re still preparing for it.” Kush and Vivian confirmed dating reports back in July 2016. Vivian is a model who is the younger cousin of Girls’ Generation’s Yuri.

On March 29 at 6 p.m. KST, Kush released his new track “Reminisce.” It had been three years since he last released music as an artist and not a producer. He said, “I was able to make music until now because the public listened to my music and loved it. I included my honest feelings and stories about various hardships [in my new song], so I hope my sincerity will reach everyone.”

Last year, the rapper and producer received a suspended prison sentence for using cocaine. Concerning his struggles after the drug controversy, he said, “I spent a lot of time reflecting on myself and making my mind and body healthy. The moments that I thought were trivial and worthless were the most precious moments in my life. I hope someone can relate to this song and not lose the preciousness of those important moments.”

Former KARA member Han Seung Yeon stars in Kush’s new music video. Her agency previously said, “Han Seung Yeon will appear in Kush’s music video for his new song. She will donate her appearance fee to feeding abandoned dogs.” The music video features dogs, and Han Seung Yeon is known to be an avid dog lover as well. She was also an honorary ambassador for a Pet Walking Campaign.
