Lee Seung Gi surprised the viewers of SBS’s “8 O’Clock News”!

On March 30, the multi-talented entertainer appeared at the end of the broadcast during the sports segment to report on Lotte Giants’ player Kim Sang Ho.

After being introduced by sports news announcer Kim Yoon Sang, Lee Seung Gi stated, “We prepared a clip of Lotte Giants’ player Kim Sang Ho who was diagnosed with a brain tumor two years ago.” The baseball player returned to the field for a practice game and hit a home run.

Lee Seung Gi shared words of encouragement before signing off, saying, “This has been one-day announcer Lee Seung Gi.”

Since the broadcast, many fans have been speculating about the reason behind Lee Seung Gi’s appearance including a possible link to the SBS variety show “Master in the House.”
