April Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from March 3 to April 4.
TV Chosun’s “Mister Trot” held onto its spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 4,407,379 for April, marking a 20.64 percent increase in its score since last month. High-ranking phrases in the audition program’s keyword analysis included “Im Young Woong,” “text vote,” and “ratings,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “like,” “thankful,” and “win.” The show’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a high score of 94.72 percent positive reactions.
MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) also maintained its position at second place this month. The reality show enjoyed a 20.63 percent rise in its score since March for a total index of 14,285,080.
Finally, SBS’s “Running Man” took third place in the rankings after seeing an impressive 72.52 percent increase in its brand reputation index this month. The show’s total score came out to 8,692,930 for April.
