Han Sun Hwa Joins Ji Chang Wook, Kim Yoo Jung, And LABOUM's Solbin In Upcoming Drama

The casting list for SBS’s upcoming drama “Backstreet Rookie” is getting another member!

It was previously announced that Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung would headline the new drama, and that LABOUM member Solbin later joined the cast. The three stars are now joined by actress Han Sun Hwa!

“Backstreet Rookie” is based on a popular webtoon of the same name and tells the story of convenience store owner Choi Dae Hyun (Ji Chang Wook) and part-time employee Jung Saet Byul (Kim Yoo Jung). Han Sun Hwa will be playing the role of Yoo Yeon Joo, Choi Dae Hyun’s girlfirend.

Debuting with the girl group Secret in 2009, Han Sun Hwa is no stranger to the small screen. She’s previously appeared in such dramas as “AD Genius Lee TaeBaek“, “God’s Gift – 14 Days,” “School 2017,” and “Tempted.”

“Backstreet Rookie” is currently slated to premiere sometime in June of this year.
