Mommy Son's Agency Warns Against Illegal Use Of His Image For Political Purposes
Rapper Mommy Son is taking a hard stance against misuse of his intellectual property.
In a statement released on April 8, the rapper’s agency said that they had been alerted to misuse of his image by some of the political candidates for the upcoming election. They reiterated that they had not given permission for such use and warned against future inappropriate use of his image and intellectual property.
The full statement reads as follows:
Hello, this is the representative agency for rapper Mommy Son, Same Side Company.
It has come to our attention that the rapper’s intellectual property and image has been used for the promotion of certain candiadates for the upcoming general elections.
We would like to make it very clear that Mommy Son has no affliation with such candidates, nor did Mommy Son give his permission to any candidate for use of his intellectual property or image in their campaigns. Such use is strictly prohibited.
Everyone in our nation is struggling during this difficult time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we pray that for the benefit of all our citizens that the representatives elected to the National Assembly are those who can give us hope.
