Yoo In Young And Kim Ji Young Face Unexpected Obstacles During 1st Undercover Mission In "Good Casting"

Yoo In Young and Kim Ji Young will find themselves in over their heads in “Good Casting.”

This upcoming SBS drama is an action comedy that follows women who were pushed into desk jobs at the National Intelligence Service (NIS) only to one day find themselves being promoted to field agents and sent undercover on a mission.

On April 15, the drama gave viewers another glimpse of its leads. Yoo In Young portrays Im Ye Eun, a quick-thinking but clumsy agent who makes many mistakes. Kim Ji Young appears as Hwang Mi Soon, a former black ops agent who is now in charge of miscellaneous duties. She somehow finds herself joining this once-in-a-lifetime project and opens the second chapter of her career as a NIS agent after being a housewife for 18 years.

In the stills, the two characters get into an accident during their first undercover mission. Im Ye Eun and Hwang Mi Soon sneak inside of a building ventilation system then react with shock at the unexpected turn of events. She gets on her knees and tries to get a signal on her cell phone. Im Ye Eun follows after her and fails at finding the exit. The two agents lose all hope and Hwang Mi Soon even loses consciousness. Why did they get stuck inside of the ventilation system and will they be able to succeed at their mission?

This scene was filmed last year in the SBS Tanhyeon studio located in Ilsan. Because the small space allowed a limited range of movement, the two actresses gave it their all in rehearsals to prepare for the scene and coordinate their teamwork. They checked each other’s formation and showed off perfect teamwork as soon as filming began. Despite the long duration of filming, they showed no trace of exhaustion and received praise from the staff for their focus.

“Good Casting” premieres on April 27 at 9:40 p.m. KST as the follow-up to “Nobody Knows,” and will be available on Viki!
