WayV Talks About Their Tight-Knit Bond + How It Helps Them On Stage

In a recent interview and pictorial for Elle magazine, WayV shared their thoughts on their close friendship and what they considered their strengths as a group.

Emphasizing WayV’s passion for music, leader Kun remarked, “Every time we come out with a new song, the members share a flood of ideas with one another. I think the fact that all seven of us are really ambitious is definitely one of our strengths.”

Ten agreed, “We all have open minds about accepting and taking on new challenges,” while Lucas chimed in, “I believe that every song has its own soul, and the most important thing is to immerse yourself completely in that world.”

WayV also expressed confidence in their chemistry as a group, with YangYang commenting, “It’s because we’re all such positive and high-energy people. I think that when we’re on stage, that energy is conveyed to our fans.”

Hendery added, “When the members are apart, we find solace in FaceTiming each other.”

Finally, the WayV members spoke about their deep gratitude to their fans.

WinWin remarked, “It’s a huge source of strength for us that even when we’re not promoting an album, there are people who are always watching over us and supporting us.”

Xiaojun also shared that he hoped to surprise their fans with a special event in the future, explaining, “I really like surprise events, so I want to prepare one for our fans.”
