WJSN's Bona In Talks To Star As Lead In New KBS Weekend Drama
WJSN’s Bona may be starring in a new drama!
On April 16, Ilgan Sports reported that Bona will be taking a lead role in a new KBS 2TV weekend drama titled “Homemade Love Story“.
The drama tells the story of the various people who gather at an apartment building called Samkwang Villa. The drama will show how these people who started off as strangers begin to open up their hearts and love one another. The story conveys the message that no matter how tough the world gets, the warm seed of love still exists in human relationships and will always be priceless. Jin Ki Joo and Lee Jang Woo are also in talks to act in it.
In response to the reports, Bona’s agency King Kong by Starship shared that she received an offer to star in the drama and is currently reviewing it.
If she chooses to take the role, Bona will play Lee Hae Deun, a character who is cute but full of jealousy. Outside, she is neat, haughty, and elegant, but at home, she is clumsy and lazy. Despite being two-faced, no one can hate her because she treats everyone with irresistible aegyo (acting cute). Lee Hae Deun and Lee Bit Chae Woon (role offered to Jin Ki Joo) are sisters.
Bona was praised for her acting in various dramas such as “The Best Hit,” “Girls’ Generation 1979,” and “Your House Helper.” This new weekend drama will be able to broaden her acting spectrum.
“Homemade Love Story” will premiere in September as the follow-up to “Once Again.”
