Watch: Apink Thanks Fans On 9th Anniversary With Touching Video For New Fan Song

Apink has celebrated a meaningful new milestone!

On April 19 at midnight KST, the girl group turned nine years old after debuting on April 19, 2011 with the track “I Don’t Know.”

Although Apink is currently busy promoting their latest title track “Dumhdurum,” they surprised fans with a special video for their B-side track “Moment,” which was written by Chorong. Apink previously revealed during an interview that Chorong wrote the song as a letter from the members to their fandom Pink Pandas.

Namjoo also took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion, sharing photos of herself making hearts with her arms and fingers. Referring to this new fan song, she wrote, “Pandas, Apink, congratulations on our ninth anniversary! I love all of your moments!”

Apink’s new animated video tells a beautiful story of friendship and love between the girl group and their fans.

A woman and a pink panda, representing Apink and their fans respectively, walk side-by-side through a dark forest. The panda helps clear the way of thorny vines and protects her from insects. The video also highlights words that Apink wants to tell their fans, such as, “I’ll hug you so you won’t be in pain anymore, just like how you hugged me on that day,” and “I feel thankful that I met you who gave me happiness in life. No matter what difficult things come our way, I’ll remember the present.”
