gugudan's Kim Sejeong Talks About Giving Advice To Junior Artists + Where She Finds Happiness

In a recent interview and pictorial for Grazia magazine, gugudan’s Kim Sejeong opened up about what brings her joy.

Although she is currently busy with her promotions for her first solo mini album “Plant,” the idol-turned-actress is eagerly looking forward to having more free time in the future—because she can’t get enough of her beloved dog Doenjang (a name that literally translates to “soybean paste” in Korean).

“Doenjangie is what makes me happiest these days,” said Kim Sejeong, who describes herself in her Instagram bio as “Doenjangie’s mom.” (Doenjang even has her own Instagram account.) “When this round of promotions is over, I want to spend more time together with Doenjangie, shopping for snacks that she likes or clothing.”

Kim Sejeong also revealed that she’s been spending a lot of time offering advice to junior artists. “I think I give a lot of advice to my younger friends about their worries and problems,” she remarked.

She went on to share, “When giving advice, I’m the type who tries to be as objective as possible and to tell it like it is.”
