Park Jimin Turns Over A New Leaf In Her Career By Signing On With Warner Music Korea As Jamie

Park Jimin is making a fresh start under the name Jamie!

On April 20, the singer took to Twitter to make the big announcement that she is changing her stage name to Jamie and that she has signed on with Warner Music Korea.

She asked fans to refer to her as Jamie from now on in the tweet, then writing, “I’m happy to announce that I’m starting another chapter of my career with Warner Music Korea as Jamie. It’s a new start for me and I’m so excited!!” 

The musician formerly debuted with JYP Entertainment in 2012 as one half of the duo 15&, the other half being Baek Yerin. Following a successful solo career, her contract with JYP Entertainment expired in August 2019, and she subsequently left the company. With Warner Music, Jamie joins the ranks of popular Western artists including but not limited to Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Cardi B, and many more.
