'The World Of The Married' Ratings Hit New All-Time High As 'The King: Eternal Monarch' Dips Slightly

JTBC’s “The World of the Married” has soared to new heights!

On April 24, the hit drama achieved its highest viewership ratings to date. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “The World of the Married” scored an average nationwide rating of 20.5 percent, marking a new personal record for the drama.

The only JTBC drama in history to score higher ratings is “SKY Castle,” the smash success that currently holds the record for the highest viewership ratings ever achieved on any Korean cable network—not just JTBC. “SKY Castle” scored a nationwide average of 23.78 percent during its finale in 2019, and industry watchers are curious to see whether “The World of the Married” will be able to beat that record by the end of its run.

Meanwhile, SBS’s new drama “The King: Eternal Monarch” saw a slight decrease in viewership for its third episode. The April 24 broadcast scored average nationwide ratings of 7.8 percent and 9.0 percent for its two parts.
