Girl's Day's Sojin To Star In New Zombie Film
Girl’s Day member Sojin will be starring in an upcoming indie film!
On April 24, her agency Noon Company confirmed, “Park Sojin will be appearing in ‘Zombie Crush: Heyri’ [literal title] in the role of Kim Ga Yeon.”
“Zombie Crush: Heyri” will tell the story of a zombie crisis that occurs in the Heyri Art Valley in the city of Paju. Sojin will appear in the movie alongside Lee Min Ji and Gong Min Jung as Kim Ga Yeon, one of the “three musketeers” who attempt to save the town. Kim Ga Yeon is a cheerful and eccentric character who is full of surprises, and after many failed businesses, she rents a space in the Heyri Art Valley to run a café.
The upcoming movie will mark Sojin’s third indie film, following her appearances in the feature films “The Swallow” (literal title) and “Recipe for Happiness,” which earned her official invitations to the 23rd Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival and Taiwan’s 19th Kaohsiung Film Festival.
Sojin is currently appearing in SBS’s “The King: Eternal Monarch” as psychiatrist Jo Hae In. The idol-turned-actress also recently played Kim Young Chae in the hit SBS drama “Stove League,” in addition to appearing in the play “Should We Go to Karaoke to Talk?” [literal title].
