"Running Man" Cast Jokes That Jun So Min's Hiatus Has Made Her Chattier Than Ever

Although Jun So Min is currently on a health-related hiatus from “Running Man,” her fellow cast members say they’re having no problem keeping in touch with her!

On the April 26 broadcast of the SBS variety show, the cast members celebrated their 500th episode with a special race. As Jun So Min is currently taking a temporary break from all activities due to health reasons, she was unable to participate in filming for the episode.

In order to fill the empty space left behind by Jun So Min, the “Running Man” members amusingly opened the show with a cardboard cutout of the actress. Playfully linking arms with the cutout, Kim Jong Kook remarked, “So Min must be lonely. It’s the 500th-episode special, and she can’t be here. Imagine how she must feel.”

Yoo Jae Suk then revealed that Jun So Min had gotten especially chatty over the phone lately, commenting, “When So Min calls [these days], she doesn’t want to hang up. So Min even asked me outright, ‘Is it okay if I don’t hang up?’”

Ji Suk Jin fervently agreed, “It’s the same with me. Last time I talked to her on the phone, I literally talked to her for 30 minutes.” Yang Se Chan similarly chimed in, “I talked to her for 40 minutes straight [last time]. She had so many questions.”

Yoo Jae Suk went on to make everyone laugh by remarking, “So Min is really bored these days [because she’s resting at home]. So if you’re planning on calling her, make sure you’re fully prepared.” Ji Suk Jin jokingly added, “You have to clear your schedule first before you call her.”

Earlier this month, the “Running Man” members expressed their support for Jun So Min on air after she unexpectedly left in the middle of a shoot due to health concerns.
