INFINITE's Sunggyu, Lovelyz's Mijoo, Golden Child's Jangjun, And Rocket Punch's Sohee Talk About Dating Bans And More At Woollim
Woollim Entertainment artists from long-time idols to newly-debuted rookies talked about bans and more at the agency!
The April 29 episode of the show “South Korean Foreigners” was a Woollim artist special with guests INFINITE’s Sunggyu, Lovelyz’s Mijoo, Golden Child’s Jangjun, and Rocket Punch’s Sohee.
Host Kim Yong Man asked Sunggyu if it’s true that he has one-on-one conversations with the head of Woollim. He replied, “I’ve been at our company for the longest after our president, vice president, and director, so when there’s an opinion to convey or plans to discuss, then I talk directly with our president over a drink.”
When the panel asked if that meant he was like a team leader at the agency, Sunggyu replied that he was a higher position than that. It was suggested that he’s at the level of a general manager, and Sunggyu agreed.
The host then asked if each of their groups have different restrictions from their agency.
Mijoo replied, “If I’m asked something, I tend to give answers that are too straightforward and honest so they tell me not to. But I end up doing it anyway and it’s shown on television, so I’ve gotten told off a lot for that.”
Jangjun shared, “I’m not allowed to work out. There was a time when my outfit ripped after I’d been working out.” He added, “I’m also banned from joking around.”
Sohee said, “We’re rookies who only debuted recently, so we’re banned from dating.” When asked if they’re also banned from dating, Mijoo said she is too and Jangjun replied, “I only love my mother and my older sister.”
Sunggyu was keeping his mouth shut and just nodding and smiling, so Kim Yong Man asked him if his dating ban has been lifted. “I’m also still banned from dating,” he said with a laugh that made everyone else laugh too.
