Watch: "Road To Kingdom" Contestants Are Shocked By The Results Of Round 1 In New Preview

The competition for Mnet’s “Road to Kingdom” is heating up!

In the first episode of “Road to Kingdom,” the seven boy groups — PENTAGON, ONF, Golden Child, The Boyz, VERIVERY, ONEUS, and TOO — met each other and showed off their skills through 90-second performances. The groups compete with the goal of winning an opportunity to appear on the the upcoming show “Kingdom.”

The teaser for the second episode gives a preview of the first round of competitions “Song of King,” which features the seven groups performing tracks by senior artists. As performances begin, voices of the contestants in the background share their confidence and resolve to put on a memorable performance.

As clips of the upcoming performances are teased, the other groups react in shock to the unique rearrangements, and some members even follow along to the familiar dances. PENTAGON’s Hui says, “Since they ranked seventh last time, they really honed their skills.”

When the MCs announce the results, the contestants can’t hide their nervousness. TOO’s Woong Gi says, “My heart is beating too fast,” and Golden Child’s Jangjun covers his eyes and says that he can’t bring himself to watch the results. Finally, The Boyz’s Eric tilts his head as he tears up.
