Rocket Punch Talks About Nearing Their 1st Debut Anniversary, Goals For 2020, And More
Rocket Punch teamed up with The Star magazine for a pictorial and interview, where they talked about their group dynamics, goals for 2020, and more.
In the interview that followed the spring-themed photo shoot, Rocket Punch talked about the fact that their group doesn’t have positions like main dancer and main vocalist, which is common in most idol groups, and they have opted to strive to be an “all center” group. Yeonhee explained, “We wanted to show that any one of us would be able to take on any part that is given to us. We take pride in that.”
When asked how it feels to be nearing their first debut anniversary, Suyun replied, “It’s still hard to believe that almost a year has passed. It feels like we’ve done a lot, but I think we also have some regrets.” Dahyun added, “I think time goes by so quickly. I hope we’re able to show even more growth in the future.”
Sohee talked about Rocket Punch’s bucket list for this year as she said, “I hope as Rocket Punch, we’re able to continue to happily perform on stage,” and Suyun candidly added, “I hope Rocket Punch will be able to receive an award.”
Rocket Punch’s full photo shoot and interview are available in the May issue of The Star.
