(G)I-DLE Thanks Their Fans In Sweet Messages For 2nd Debut Anniversary
On May 2, (G)I-DLE celebrated their second debut anniversary!
The group performed the song “Luv U” on “Music Core” that day and wrote on Twitter, “With capes and Never-wands, (G)I-DLE transformed into kid wizards! It was a special performance of ‘Luv U’ to mark the meaningful 2nd anniversary! We will gift only happy magic to Neverland [fandom name].”

Later that day, the girl group held a live broadcast on YouTube to talk with fans about their second debut anniversary. On Twitter, they shared a photo and wrote, “The second debut anniversary livestream was happy because we spent it together with Neverland. You will wait for our letters and Polaroids on our third debut anniversary, right? Let’s stay together for a long time, Neverland.”
During the livestream, the members celebrated with cake and shared their feelings about their second anniversary. Soojin said, “I can’t believe that we’ve passed our second year. Thank you for showing us so much love and I hope that we can continue to make good memories in the future.” Shuhua said, “NEVERVER, thank you for cheering us on and loving us for two years. The members and the staff worked really hard.” Yuqi said, “I didn’t know that our second anniversary would come this fast, but even when it was hard, we got through it because of Neverland. Thank you to everyone who loved (G)I-DLE. I am thankful to everyone around me, including the members, my parents, my family, and all the staff.”
Soyeon said, “To our Neverland, thank you for staying the same and loving us for two years. I am so thankful. Thanks to Neverland, we were able to be happy while promoting for the past two years.” Miyeon said, “I don’t think two years went by so fast in my life. It was really fun. There were ups and downs, but I don’t really remember the downs. There are so many more memories to make in the future, so let’s stay healthy and happy together.” Minnie said, “Today is a good day. I can’t believe we’re already at our second debut anniversary. We didn’t think we would receive so much love after our debut. Let’s stay together for a long time, for 10 years, 20 years, forever.”

Some of the members took to Instagram to share more personal messages. Minnie wrote, “Luv U. #2YEARSWITHGIDLE. Always thank you and love you dear NEVERVER.”
Yuqi wrote in Korean, English, and Chinese, “Dear Neverland, who gave us so much love for the past two years. There’s a lot I wanna say to you guys… but I just can’t think of anything other than ‘I love you.’ I’ve had so many ups and downs, but I think I got through all the difficulties because of you. I really, really love you all. We still have so many more anniversaries to celebrate together. Whatever happens, just remember, I’m always here with you all. It’s my honor to have you, my dear Neverland.”
Miyeon wrote, “Neverland <3 (G)I-DLE. Happy 2nd anniversary! Let’s be just as happy as we are now. I love you and thank you so much. Plus, this was the start of the puppy sisters… Memories.”
