'The King: Eternal Monarch' Ratings Return To Double Digits Amidst Stiff Competition

SBS’s “The King: Eternal Monarch” may be back on the rise!

According to Nielsen Korea, the May 2 episode of “The King: Eternal Monarch” scored average nationwide ratings of 7.4 percent and 10.3 percent for its two parts, marking the first time since the drama’s second episode that it achieved double-digit ratings.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s popular weekend drama “Once Again” stayed strong, scoring average nationwide ratings of 21.4 percent and 26.1 percent for its two parts.

tvN’s new romance drama “When My Love Blooms” also saw a rise in viewership from its previous episode, scoring an average nationwide rating of 5.4 percent and a peak of 6.5 percent for the night.

Finally, JTBC’s “The World of the Married” soared to new heights, breaking the record for the highest viewership ratings ever achieved by any drama in Korean cable network history.
