Watch: Jung Il Woo + Former KARA Member Kang Ji Young Get The Party Started In Fun Teaser For New Rom-Com Drama

JTBC’s upcoming drama “Sweet Munchies” has unveiled its first teaser!

“Sweet Munchies” is a new romantic comedy about a love triangle in which a man and a woman fight over the same man. Jung Il Woo will be starring as celebrity chef Park Jin Sung, while former KARA member Kang Ji Young will be starring as variety show producing director (PD) Kim Ah Jin. “The World of the Married” star Lee Hak Joo will also be appearing in the drama as Kang Tae Wan, a successful designer.

In the drama’s newly released first teaser, Kim Ah Jin and Kang Tae Won are enjoying drinks at Park Jin Sung’s restaurant when Kim Ah Jin’s friend suddenly asks, “Please turn up the volume.” Kim Ah Jin asks with a bewildered laugh, “What is this? Why are you doing this?” However, when her friend starts dancing, neither Kim Ah Jin nor Kang Tae Won are able to resist the music, and they soon get on their feet for an impromptu dance party.

Despite the protests of a spoilsport in a nearby booth, who asks them to keep it down, all of the restaurant’s other patrons—and eventually, even Park Jin Sung himself—have a blast as they turn the bar into a dance floor.

“Sweet Munchies” premieres on May 25 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
