Watch: Song Seung Heon, Seo Ji Hye, Lee Ji Hoon, And Apink's Son Naeun's Lives Cross Over In New Drama Teaser
MBC’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Dinner Mate” has released a new teaser introducing the four main characters!
Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Dinner Mate” tells the love story of a man and a woman who have grown jaded about romance after experiencing painful heartbreak. Through eating dinner together, they eventually recover their ability to feel emotion and begin to find love over food.
The new teaser give viewers a glimpse of the characters played by Song Seung Heon, Seo Ji Hye, Lee Ji Hoon, and Apink’s Son Naeun. Woo Do Hee (Seo Ji Hye) can be heard describing psychologist Kim Hae Kyung (Song Seung Heon) as she says, “I’m a little disappointed. I heard you were a gentleman, but I guess those were just rumors.” Meanwhile, he says about her work as a producing director, “I don’t think the problem is the show, but the person who planned it out. They’re more dangerous than a psychopath.”
Lee Ji Hoon plays medical reporter Jung Jae Hyuk, who is Woo Do Hee’s first love and he says, “Do Hee and I were each other’s first love,” and he goes up to her and says, “I love you, I mean it.” Meanwhile, Son Naeun takes on the role of personal trainer Jin No Eul and when Kim Hae Kyung says, “Back then, I didn’t feel like you really loved me,” she replies, “I didn’t know what love really was back then.” She also asks, “Are you seeing someone right now?”
The teaser ends with Woo Do Hee saying, “If we keep meeting, that’s not a miracle, it’s fate.”
“Dinner Mate” will premiere on May 25. Check out the teaser below!
