IU Makes Meaningful Donation In Celebration Of Children's Day

IU has made another heartwarming donation to help children in need.

On May 4, the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, a global non-profit organization supporting children’s welfare, revealed, “Singer IU donated 100 million won (approximately $81,570) ahead of Children’s Day.” Children’s Day is celebrated on May 5 in South Korea.

IU has donated to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation since 2015 and previously supported the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19) with five donations totaling 315 million won (approximately $265,000).

Meanwhile, IU is gearing up for her comeback with a digital single that was produced by and features BTS’ Suga.
