Shin Ha Kyun And Jung So Min Share Their Wish To Reduce Stigma About Mental Health Through Drama "Fix You"
Shin Ha Kyun and Jung So Min sat down with fashion magazine Arena and shared their hopes for KBS’s upcoming drama “Fix You.”
“Fix You” will tell the story of psychiatrists who believe in “healing” rather than “curing” their patients. The drama aims to shed light on common mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, panic disorder, trauma, schizophrenia, alcoholism, and more, without judgement. “Fix You” will also showcase how anyone can have mental health concerns and receive help from a psychiatrist.
Shin Ha Kyun will star as Lee Shi Joon, a psychiatrist who is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to treat his patients, while Jung So Min will star as his patient Han Woo Joo.
The two shared, “We hope that this drama will help people feel less ashamed about healing the pain in their hearts, even just a little bit.”
Dressed in fashionable attire, the co-stars also created a refreshing atmosphere as they struck poses together for a photo shoot with the magazine.
The full interview and pictorial can be found in the June issue of Arena Magazine.
“Fix You” will premiere on May 6 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
